1. Purpose
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to give you information and guidelines on how Actie Dayz will work for Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus and Multiply Engage and Engage Plus.
2. Definitions
2.1. “Adult dependant” means dependants 18 years and older.
2.2. “Child dependant” means persons aged 17 years and below
2.3. “Momentum Multiply” refers to Momentum Multiply Proprietary Limited (registration number: 2014/188245/07) herein referred to as “We” or “Us” or “Our”;
2.4. “Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules” mean the main terms, conditions and rules for the Momentum Multiply programme which will apply to all Momentum Multiply users who utilise and accept these rules
2.5. “Member” refers to main member; partner/spouse, adult dependant, or child dependant of the main member, herein referred to us as “you” or “your”.
2.6. “Product” means Momentum Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus and Momentum Multiply Engage and Engage Plus.
3. Acceptance of these terms and conditions
3.1. By participating in Active Dayz, you agree to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions set out herein. You also agree to the Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules and all the different sets of terms and conditions related to digital channel usage, privacy policy, partner terms and conditions (channel and product).
3.2. These rules will apply to and bind all Momentum Multiply member(s). Dependants on your membership are also bound by these general rules. Any rule that applies to the main member, will therefore also apply to dependants.
4. Active Dayz general information
4.1. As a Momentum Multiply member, you earn Active Dayz for completing certain activities and tracking these activities with a supported fitness tracking device or app.
4.2. You need to do a workout that meets the time and intensity requirements (per day) or take ≥ 8 500 steps in a day to earn an active day.
4.3. Active Dayz will be calculated according to your individual max heart rate using the following calculation: 220 – your age = heart rate. To earn an Active Day through a workout, you have to exercise at a specific intensity for a specific duration. Higher intensity training requires a shorter duration than lower intensity training.
5. Eligibility
5.1. Active Dayz are available to:
5.1.1. Members 18 years and older; and
5.1.2. Members of Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus and Engage Plus.
6. Active Dayz via a workout session
6.1. Start your workout session on your activity tracking device when you start to exercise and stop the workout session on your device or app when you are done.
6.2. If you forget to stop the workout session on your device or app, this may affect your ability to earn an active day.
6.3. You should not start a workout session on your device or app unless you are exercising (actively working out).
6.4. If a workout session is started on the device or app and left running without you actually working out or exercising, the active day may not be awarded because your intensity may have dropped.
6.5. Only activities that are automatically synced from a compatible fitness device will count towards Active Dayz. Manually added or edited activities, whether on the device or through associated apps, will not be counted.
7. Active Dayz via a single activity
7.1. You must take ≥ 8 500 steps or more throughout a single day, complete ≥ 20 minutes of a high intensity workout or ≥ 40 minutes of a moderate intensity workout.
7.2. This will count towards an active day.
7.3. Only activities that are automatically synced from a compatible fitness device will count towards Active Dayz. Manually added or edited activities, whether on the device or through associated apps, will not be counted.
8. Active Dayz via a combination activity
8.1. You can also earn an active day, by completing one of these combo activities:
8.1.1. Two workouts of ≥ 20 minutes moderate intensity each per day; or
8.1.2. ≥ 25 minutes of a moderate intensity workout plus ≥5 000 steps per day; or
8.1.3. ≥ 25 minutes of a moderate intensity workout plus ≥45 minutes low intensity workout per day; or
8.1.4. ≥ 45 minutes low intensity workout plus ≥5 000 steps per day.
8.2. The two low intensity activities set out in 8.1.3 and 8.1.4 above (i.e. 25 minutes moderate intensity together with 45 minutes of low intensity, and 45 minutes of low intensity with 5 000 steps) can only be done twice a week to count towards Weekly and Monthly Wins.
9. Third party devices and syncing
9.1. It is your responsibility to procure and link devices to access the Momentum Multiply benefits.
9.2. Please note third party device terms and conditions will apply and must be adhered to.
9.3. Momentum Multiply will not be responsible or liable for any failure, malfunction or losses related to third party devices.
10. Data synchronisation and risk of data loss
10.1. Members acknowledge that the allocation of benefits for Active Dayz is dependent on the successful synchronisation of activity data from linked devices to the App.
10.2. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that all activity data (including, but not limited to, workout activities, single activities and combination activities) is regularly and successfully synchronised with the App.
10.3. Members are advised that any activity data that has not been successfully synchronised with Momentum Multiply’s system/backend services prior to uninstalling or reinstalling the App may be permanently lost.
10.4. Momentum Multiply shall not be liable for any loss of unsynchronised activity data, rewards, or related benefits arising from:
10.4.1. incorrect tracking due to members not syncing devices timeously;
10.4.2. the uninstallation or reinstallation of the App;
10.4.3. failure to synchronise activity data prior to such uninstallation or reinstallation; or
10.4.4. any delays or interruptions in data transmission from third-party devices.
10.5. Before uninstalling or reinstalling the App, members must ensure that all activity data has been properly synchronised by completing the following steps:
10.5.1. Syncing activities from your linked devices:
10.5.1.1. Open the relevant activity tracking application (e.g., Garmin Connect, Strava, Apple Health).
10.5.1.2. Navigate to Settings > Linked Accounts / Connected Apps > Momentum Multiply Production.
10.5.1.3. Select the App from the list of connected applications.
10.5.1.4. Ensure that all relevant permissions are enabled.
10.5.1.5. Initiate a manual sync within the tracking application.
10.5.2. Syncing Recharge Dayz or similar in-app activity data:
10.5.2.1. Navigate to the Recharge Dayz activity page within the App.
10.5.2.2. Complete the required measurement or scan process (Select “Scan Now” and start measurement). Place finger of the camera on compatible devices and remain still until the scan is completed
10.5.2.3. Ensure that the result is displayed and recorded and select “Done” on “Your Results” screen before exiting the screen.
10.5.3. Verification of synchronisation:
10.5.3.1. Confirm that all recent activity data is accurately reflected within the App;
10.5.3.2. Verify that eligible activities have resulted in the allocation of rewards or recognition within the member profile.
10.6. Members acknowledge that there may be delays in the processing or display of activity data.
10.7. Where activity data or results are not immediately reflected, members should allow reasonable time for processing and must not uninstall or reinstall the App until such data has been successfully recorded, failing which such data may be lost. Members should locate the Contact us page by clicking the (?) icon on the top right corner of the Multiply app post login or contact the Momentum Multiply support team on 086 188 6600 for further assistance contact the Momentum Multiply support team for assistance if a member encounter any problems with data synchronisation.
10.8. By uninstalling or reinstalling the App, Members acknowledge and accept the risk that any unsynchronised data may be permanently lost.
10.9. Members further acknowledge that it is their responsibility to take all reasonable steps to safeguard their data prior to uninstalling or reinstalling the App.
11. Rewards for Active Dayz
11.1. Only members on Multiply Inspire / Inspire Plus or Multiply Engage Plus get rewarded for achieving their activity goals.
11.2. You get Weekly Wins when you earn Active Dayz and achieve your weekly activity goals.
11.3. If you keep this up for 4 consecutive weeks, you can earn a Monthly Win.
11.4. For Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus members:
11.4.1. You earn HealthReturns if you achieve your weekly and monthly goals.
11.4.2. The amount you get for achieving your weekly and monthly targets will be based on your health and fitness level.
11.5. For Multiply Engage Plus members:
11.5.1. You earn Weekly Wins for achieving your weekly activity goals.
11.6. For Multiply Engage members:
11.6.1. You can track your activities to see how you’re doing. You get rewarded when you upgrade to Multiply Engage Plus.
12. Commencement and duration
12.1. You can start earning Active Dayz once you become a Momentum Multiply member.
13. Fees and charges
13.1. If you earn HealthReturns you will pay R40.00 (forty rand) per year administration fee for your HealthSaver account.
14. Limitations and restrictions
14.1. No under 18s will be able to earn Active Dayz.
15. Apps
15.1. All engagement for Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus and Multiply Engage and Engage Plus will take place on the Momentum app or the Momentum Multiply app.
15.2. Momentum clients will have access to Momentum Multiply and the relevant products through the Momentum app and all other members will have access through the Momentum Multiply app.

15.5. Once you’ve downloaded the respective app, you need to register a profile. You will be able to view all your health and membership details on your private profile.
15.6. Please note the Momentum Multiply app terms and conditions will apply, you can find these on the app.
16. Termination and cancellation
16.1. You will no longer have access to this benefit if your Momentum Multiply membership is cancelled.
16.2. On termination date of the main member’s Momentum Multiply membership, all members rights to the benefits will cease and no refunds of any fees paid will be permitted. Refer to the Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules for details.
16.3. Momentum Multiply may cancel or suspend your benefit upon investigation proving one of the below:
16.3.1. You breach any of the rules of Momentum Multiply; or
16.3.2. You are using the benefit(s) of the programme in an abusive and/or fraudulent manner.
16.4. Momentum Multiply may cancel your benefit upon conclusion investigation proving one of the abovementioned breaches.
17. Change to the terms, conditions and rules
17.1. Momentum Multiply may, in its sole discretion and at any time, amend these rules and/or any business rules associated with them in any manner whatsoever. Such amendments may include, but shall not be limited to, amendments to the amounts and percentages referred to in these rules as well as changing the model of the Momentum Multiply programme.
17.2. Momentum Multiply will publish the amended terms and conditions on Momentum Multiply digital channels or any other manner as Momentum Multiply may determine in its sole discretion.
17.3. You will be provided with thirty (30) days prior notice to any amendments and if you continue to use the Momentum Multiply benefits at the end of the notice period (effective date), you will be deemed to have accepted the amendments.
18. Important disclosures and legal matters
18.1. If you fail to comply with any part of these rules, you will be disqualified and you will forfeit any benefit(s).
18.2. Should we not exercise some or all of our rights or waive certain requirements shall not be seen as a waiver of our rights or deprive us from insisting on strict adherence to those terms or any other term at a later stage. You must not assume that this means that the rules have been changed or that it no longer applies to you.
18.3. Momentum Multiply is not responsible/liable for any unauthorised human or technical intervention, or for any transactions that is not processed, executed, saved or transmitted, regardless of the cause.
18.4. Momentum Multiply may at its sole discretion decide who may participate in these benefits/challenges.
18.5. Any benefit allocated to you considers prevailing legislation and/or any applicable practice. In the event of a change in the applicable legislation and/or practice, Momentum Multiply reserves the right to adjust the benefits accordingly without any reasonable notice to you.
18.6. If one or more of these rules is invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, such portions will be severable from the body and it will not impact on the validity of remaining rules, which will stay valid.
18.7. You may not transfer or cede or exchange or sell membership, benefit or reward rights to another person.
19. Personal information and privacy
19.1. Momentum Multiply will handle your right to privacy according to the rules and regulations as stipulated here.
19.2. You will be asked to agree to certain privacy settings when registering a profile on the Momentum or Momentum Multiply app. These privacy settings can be updated at any time.

21. Interpretation
21.1. In these rules, the singular always refers to plural, as well as the other way around. In these rules references to the masculine gender shall include the feminine.
21.2. The headings in this agreement will not affect the interpretation of it.
