1. Purpose
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to give you information and guidelines on how HealthReturns and HealthSaver for Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus will work.
2. Parties and/or participants
2.1. Momentum Multiply – refers to Momentum Multiply Proprietary Limited herein referred to as “We” or “Us” or “Our” or “Momentum Multiply”.
2.2. Member – refers to main member; partner/spouse; adult dependant; child dependant herein referred to us as “you” or “your”.
2.3. Momentum Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus and Momentum Multiply Engage and Engage Plus, herein referred to as the “product”.
3. Acceptance of these terms and conditions
3.1. By agreeing to and being a Momentum Multiply member, you agree to have read, understood and accepted these rules. You also agree to the Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules, HealthSaver terms and conditions, and all the different sets of terms and conditions related to digital channel usage, privacy policy, status and tiers, partner terms and conditions (channel and product).
3.2. These rules will apply to and bind all Momentum Multiply member(s). Dependants on your membership are also bound by these general rules. Any rule that applies to the main member, will therefore also apply to dependants.
4. HealthSaver general information
4.1 The purpose of the HealthSaver product is to provide an alternative savings vehicle for you to use to cover out-of-pocket medical expenses, that would otherwise have to be funded by yourself, as well as to provide a rewards vehicle to use to receive and spend your HealthReturns, cashbacks and Boosters.
4.2. A HealthSaver account is a savings account that works seamlessly with your medical aid.
4.3. HealthReturns and cashbacks are paid into your HealthSaver account.
4.4. You can also choose to make additional deposits into your HealthSaver account on a monthly or ad hoc basis.
4.5. Your HealthSaver account consists of a Savings Balance and a Rewards Balance.
5. Money into your HealthSaver account
5.1 You can make monthly or ad hoc contributions to your HealthSaver account. This is paid into your Savings Balance.
5.2. You can earn HealthReturns into your HealthSaver account by doing your health and fitness assessment or by actively engaging in your health through Weekly and Monthly Wins. This is paid into your Rewards Balance.
5.3 You can earn HealthSaver Rewards on positive balances with Savings Booster.
6. Spending the money in your HealthSaver account

7. HealthSaver manual health claim payment requirements
7.1. The below information is required to process a manual claim for HealthSaver payments:
7.1.1. Name and surname of the main member
7.1.2. Membership number
7.1.3. Name and surname of the patient
7.1.4. Date
7.1.5. Proof of payment ie, paid stamp or receipt attached
7.2. If any of the above is outstanding, HealthSaver will not process the manual claim and you will be liable for the cost.
8. Suspended or closed HealthReturns account
8.1. If your account is closed or suspended, the HealthReturns will not be deposited into your account. However, it will accumulate for 3 months to give you sufficient time to open or unsuspend your account.
8.2. After 3 months all monies from the date of the first failed payment will be forfeited.
8.3. To unsuspend your account, pay the outstanding balance. Email communication on how to do this would have been sent to you when the account was suspended.
9. Fees and charges
9.1. You will pay a R40 per year administration fee for your HealthSaver account.
10. Limitations and restrictions
10.1. No members under 18 are permitted to engage in this benefit.
10.2. You will not earn HealthReturns if:
10.2.1. You are a Multiply Engage or an Engage Plus member; and
10.2.2. You are not HealthReturns compliant:
10.2.2.1. You are not taking your chronic medication;
10.2.2.2. Your glucose levels are too high (you will be required do a blood glucose test); and
10.2.2.3. Your cholesterol levels are too high (you will be required do a cholesterol test).
11. Termination and cancellation
11.1. You will no longer earn HealthReturns if your Momentum Multiply membership is cancelled.
11.2. On termination date of the main member’s Momentum Multiply membership, all members’ rights to earning HealthReturns will cease and no refunds of any fees paid will be permitted. Refer to the Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules for details.
11.3. Momentum Multiply may cancel or suspend your benefit upon investigation proving one of the below:
11.3.1. You breach any of the rules of Momentum Multiply; or
11.3.2. You are using the benefit(s) of the programme in an abusive and/or fraudulent manner.
11.4. Momentum Multiply may cancel your benefit upon conclusion investigation proving one of the abovementioned breaches.
12. Change to the terms, conditions and rules
12.1. Momentum Multiply may, in its sole discretion and at any time, amend these rules and/or any business rules associated with them in any manner whatsoever. Such amendments may include, but shall not be limited to, amendments to the amounts and percentages referred to in these rules as well as changing the model of the Momentum Multiply programme.
12.2. Momentum Multiply shall publish the amended terms and conditions on Momentum Multiply digital channels or any other manner as Momentum Multiply may determine in its sole discretion.
12.3. You will be provided with thirty days prior notice to any amendments and if you continue to use the Momentum Multiply benefits at the end of the notice period (effective date), you will be deemed to have accepted the amendments.
13. Important disclosures and legal matters
13.1. If you fail to comply with any part of these rules, you will be disqualified and you will forfeit any benefit(s).
13.2. Should we not exercise some or all of our rights or waive certain requirements, this shall not be seen as a waiver of our rights or deprive us from insisting on strict adherence to those terms or any other term at a later stage. You must not assume that this means that the rules have been changed or that it no longer applies to you.
13.3. Momentum Multiply is not responsible/liable for any unauthorised human or technical intervention, or for any transactions that are not processed, executed, saved or transmitted, regardless of the cause.
13.4. Momentum Multiply may at its sole discretion decide who may participate in these benefits/challenges.
13.5. Any benefit allocated to you considers prevailing legislation and/or any applicable practice. In the event of a change in the applicable legislation and/or practice, Momentum Multiply reserves the right to adjust the benefits accordingly without any reasonable notice to you.
13.6. If one or more of these rules is invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, such portions will be severable from the body and it will not impact on the validity of remaining rules, which will stay valid.
13.7. You may not transfer or cede or exchange or sell membership, benefit or reward rights to another person.
14. Personal information and privacy
14.1 Momentum Multiply will handle your right to privacy according to the rules and regulations as stipulated here.
14.2 You will be asked to agree to certain privacy settings when registering a profile on the Momentum or Momentum Multiply app. These privacy settings can be updated at any time.

16. Definitions
16.1 Adult dependant means dependants 18 years and older.
16.2 Child dependant means persons aged 17 years and below.
16.3 Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules shall mean the main terms, conditions and rules for the Momentum Multiply Programme which will apply to all Momentum Multiply users who utilise and accept these rules.
17. Interpretation
17.1 In these rules, the singular always refers to plural, as well as the other way around. In these rules references to the masculine gender shall include the feminine.
17.2 The headings in this agreement will not affect the interpretation of it.
