1. What is Multiply Travel?
Multiply Travel helps you book flights, accommodation and car hire at great prices, with discounts based on your rewards level on top of these prices. We find the best available deals for you and add your Multiply discount on top.
2. What’s changed?
- More value, built right in. Previously, discounts applied to specific travel categories. Now we do the deal hunting to find the best available travel deals and then apply the relevant Multiply discount on top of that.
- Savings across every booking. You now get up to 25% off flights, accommodation and car hire, depending on your rewards level.
- One trip, one booking. You can book travel for yourself and non‑Multiply travellers together, making it easier to manage a single itinerary for the whole trip.
- More choice, more flexibility. We’ve expanded our airline offering to give you more options when planning your next getaway. New partners include British Airways, KLM, Air France and SAA.
- Freedom to book beyond Multiply partners. You can also book with non‑Multiply partners through our platform. While these bookings do not qualify for a Multiply discount, you still benefit from competitive pricing, convenience and having everything managed in one place.
3. How does the discount work?
Previously, discounts applied to specific travel categories. We’ve expanded that to look for the best available travel deals every time you book, then apply your Multiply discount of up to 25% to the price you see. Your discount is based on your rewards level. You get a rewards level from the results of your health and fitness assessment. The healthier you are, the more you’ll score.
4. Do I need to search for promo codes or specials?
No. We do the deal hunting for you. Your savings are already included in the price.
5. Is the discount guaranteed on every booking?
Savings are up to 25% and depend on availability, dates and providers. The final price always shows your included up to 25% discount.
6. Which airlines and partners can I book with?
You’ll find a wide range of airlines, accommodation and car hire brands on multiply.co.za or on the Multiply app via the Multiply Mall. Among these brands are FlySafair, Airlink, Emirates, Qatar, Lift, Marriott, Avis and more.
7. Have you added new airlines?
Yes. We’ve added new airline options to give you even more choice. These include British Airways, KLM, SAA and Air France.
8. Can I book travel for my family?
Yes. You can book flights, accommodation and car hire for yourself and your family. If your family are Multiply members, they qualify for the discount. If they’re not, you can still make one booking and the discount will only be applied to the Multiply members. Good news – we’ll always find the best deals for you when you book your trip.
9. Where do I make my Multiply Travel booking?
All bookings must be made through Multiply Travel to access your discount. You can either book your trip on multiply.co.za or on the Multiply app via the Multiply Mall.
10. How many discounted international flights can I book?
You may use your discount on one return international ticket per family member per calendar year, and this applies to economy class only.
11. Does the discount apply to one-way international flights?
No. One-way international travel does not qualify for the discount. The discount only applies to international return flights.
12. What booking requirements must I meet to get the full discount?
- Domestic flights: Book at least 1 week in advance
- International flights: Book at least 6 weeks in advance
If you do not meet these timelines, your discount will be reduced by 10%.
13. What fees apply when booking through Multiply Travel?
The following service fees apply:
- Domestic flights: R75
- International flights: R450
- Car rental: R75
- Accommodation: R75
- Cancel for refund: R175
- Ancillaries: R20
- Offline consultant: R400
- After-hours surcharge: R345
14. What does the discount apply to?
The discount applies to:
- Base airfare
- YQ taxes (carrier-imposed fuel surcharge)
It does not apply to:
- Airport taxes
- Levies or surcharges
- Third-party or government charges
- Booking fees or other additional costs
15. Can I combine the Multiply discount with promo codes or vouchers?
No. No discount will apply if a promo code or voucher is used.
16. Does the discount apply to all types of travel?
No. Discounts apply to:
- Leisure travel only
- Economy class bookings across all booking classes
17. What travel bookings do NOT qualify for discounts?
The following are excluded:
- Charter flights
- Codeshare flights not operated by the Airline Partner
- Business or first-class fares (unless stated otherwise)
- Promotional or special fare classes
- Private or unpublished fares
- Taxes, levies, and third-party charges
18. Can I get a discount on changes to my booking?
No. The discount does not apply to any changes made after booking.
19. Are Multiply Travel prices the same as airline website prices?
Not necessarily. Multiply uses contracted fares, which may differ from publicly displayed prices due to:
- Airline pricing algorithms
- Availability and demand
- Promotions or third-party deals
Multiply does not control or influence airline pricing.
20. Can Multiply explain or break down airline charges?
No. Multiply does not control or calculate airline charges and cannot provide itemised breakdowns of these costs.
21. Are tickets refundable or changeable?
This depends on the fare rules of your ticket:
- Some tickets may be refundable (possibly with a fee)
- Changes are allowed subject to availability and airline rules
22. Are Multiply discounts negotiable?
No. All discounts and prices are fixed and non-negotiable and cannot be combined with other specials or agent pricing.

All after-sale services are handled by the Airline Partner and are governed by their terms and conditions.
25. What happens when I use the Multiply Travel benefit?
By booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted:
- The Multiply Travel Terms and Conditions for each travel partner.
- The Multiply General Programme Rules.
26. Can Multiply change these terms and conditions?
Yes. Multiply may amend terms and conditions with reasonable notice.
27. Can benefits be withdrawn?
Yes. Benefits may be suspended or revoked in cases of fraud, misuse or abuse.
28. Is Multiply a travel agency or airline?
No. Multiply is a wellness rewards programme, not an airline or travel operator.
