Google is discontinuing support for the Fitbit app from 30 October 2026, in favour of Google Health. Due to concerns around data stability and validation, Multiply does not currently support integration with Google Health.
As a result, Fitbit devices will no longer be supported by Multiply from 30 October 2026.
What does this mean for you?
From 30 October 2026:
- Activities recorded through a Fitbit device will no longer be recognised by Multiply.
- Fitbit activities will no longer count toward Active Dayz.
- To continue tracking Active Dayz, you will need to connect an alternative Multiply supported device or app to the Multiply app.
Supported activity providers
You can continue tracking your activity with any of the following Multiply supported apps or devices:
- Garmin
- Apple Health / Apple Watch
- Samsung Health
- Huawei Health
- Strava
- Polar
- Suunto
- Zepp
What do you need to do?
To help avoid any interruptions to Active Dayz and rewards:
- You need to get and/or choose one of the Multiply supported devices or apps listed above.
- Link the device or app to the Multiply app as soon as possible.
- Check that your activities are syncing successfully with the Multiply app.
If you do not connect an alternative supported device or app, your activities will no longer count toward Active Dayz and rewards.
If you need help connecting an alternative device or app, call or chat to us via WhatsApp on 0861 88 66 00 or email multiply@momentum.co.za.
*Earning of rewards with Active Dayz only are applicable to Multiply Inspire Plus and Engage Plus members only.
