1. Purpose
1.1. MultiplyCONNECT is Momentum Multiply’s Facebook community designed primarily for Multiply members. The community provides wellness information, challenges, competitions, giveaways and engagement activities.
1.2. These terms and conditions govern participation in MultiplyCONNECT and all associated giveaways, competitions, prize-based engagement, and participation within the MultiplyCONNECT community.
1.3. Momentum Multiply staff members may participate in MultiplyCONNECT activities. Unless expressly stated otherwise in the rules applicable to a specific campaign or challenge, staff members are not eligible to receive prizes, rewards, giveaways, or promotional incentives.
2. Parties and/or participants
2.1. Momentum Multiply means Momentum Multiply (Pty) Limited (registration number 2014/188245/07), referred to as “We”, “Us”, “Our” or “Momentum Multiply”.
2.2. Member means the main member, partner/spouse or adult dependant linked to a valid Momentum Multiply membership, herein referred to as “you” or “your”.
2.3. Staff Member means any employee, contractor, consultant, intern, fixed-term employee, or temporary employee of Momentum Group, Momentum Multiply, or any business unit participating in or supporting MultiplyCONNECT activities.
3. Acceptance of these terms and conditions
3.1. By joining MultiplyCONNECT or participating in any challenge, campaign, competition or giveaway, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these rules.
3.2. You also agree to be bound by:
3.2.1. the Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules;
3.2.2. the applicable digital channel terms and conditions;
3.2.3. Momentum Multiply’s Privacy Policy; and
3.2.4. any applicable, partner terms and conditions.
4. General information
4.1. MultiplyCONNECT is Momentum Multiply’s community designed primarily for Multiply members. Momentum Multiply staff members may also participate in selected activities where permitted.
4.2. MultiplyCONNECT provides members with holistic wellness tips, regular health challenges, and a supportive network of like-minded individuals for support on their health journey.
4.3. Momentum Multiply may offer giveaways, competitions, prizes, polls and other engagement activities from time to time.
4.4. Participation requirements, eligibility criteria and prize details for specific campaigns or activities will be communicated as part of the relevant campaign, challenge or competition.
4.5. Giveaways and prizes may be linked to participation in community activities, challenges, campaigns, polls or other engagement initiatives within MultiplyCONNECT.
5. Eligibility for prize draws
5.1. To be eligible for a prize draw, giveaway or competition, participants must:
5.1.1. be South African citizens or permanent residents in the Republic of South Africa;
5.1.2. be a Momentum Multiply member, spouse/partner, or adult dependant linked to a valid Momentum Multiply membership;
5.1.3. be 18 years and older;
5.1.4. be a member of the MultiplyCONNECT Facebook group; and
5.1.5. satisfy any additional eligibility requirements communicated for a specific challenge, campaign, competition or giveaway.
5.2. Momentum Multiply staff members may participate in activities offered through MultiplyCONNECT, including challenges, campaigns, wellness initiatives, engagement activities and educational content, unless specifically excluded by the rules applicable to a particular campaign or challenge.
5.3. Participation by Momentum Multiply staff members is subject to these Terms and Conditions and any campaign-specific rules that may apply.
6. Requirements for the giveaways or prizes
6.1. Momentum Multiply may offer giveaways, competitions, prizes and promotional activities from time to time through the MultiplyCONNECT community.
6.2. Certain giveaways, competitions and prizes may be offered on a monthly basis, while others may be offered at Momentum Multiply's discretion.
6.3. Details of giveaways, competitions, prizes and participation requirements will be communicated through MultiplyCONNECT or any other communication channel determined by Momentum Multiply.
6.4. Giveaways and prizes may be linked to participation in the MultiplyCONNECT community, including challenges, campaigns, polls and other engagement activities.
6.5. Winners may be announced on the MultiplyCONNECT Facebook page and will be contacted via direct message to verify their Momentum Multiply membership and obtain the information necessary to facilitate prize fulfilment.
6.6. Unless expressly stated otherwise in the rules applicable to a specific campaign, challenge, competition or giveaway, Momentum Multiply staff members are not eligible to win or receive prizes, rewards, giveaways or promotional incentives.
7. Winner selection
7.1. All lucky draws will be conducted by a person appointed by Momentum Multiply who is independent of the eligible participants.
7.2. The MultiplyCONNECT support team will contact the winners and ensure verification is done before the prize is couriered to them.
7.3. Momentum Multiply will take reasonable steps to administer, store and distribute prizes.
7.4. Momentum Multiply reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
8. Fees and charges
8.1. There are no fees payable to join the MultiplyCONNECT Facebook community.
9. Limitations and restrictions
9.1. No persons under the age of 18 may participate in MultiplyCONNECT.
9.2. If you win a lucky draw prize, you will not be eligible for selection in the next two lucky draws conducted through MultiplyCONNECT.
9.3. Unless expressly stated otherwise in the rules applicable to a specific campaign, challenge or giveaway, Momentum Multiply staff members are not eligible to receive prizes, rewards, giveaways, lucky draw entries, promotional incentives or any other campaign-related awards.
9.3.1. Where a campaign specifically permits staff prize eligibility, the campaign-specific rules will override this restriction.
9.3.2. Any prize awarded to a staff member in error may be withdrawn and reallocated at the discretion of Momentum Multiply.
9.3.3. Staff participation is encouraged for engagement, wellness, education, testing, advocacy, and community-building purposes.
9.4. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other item.
10. Termination and cancellation
10.1. Your access to Momentum Multiply and all associated benefits, rights and privileges will terminate if your Momentum Multiply membership is cancelled or terminated.
10.2. Momentum Multiply may cancel, suspend, or remove you from the MultiplyCONNECT Facebook community if, following an investigation, it determines that:
10.2.1. you have breached these rules or any applicable Momentum Multiply rule; or
10.2.2. you have used MultiplyCONNECT benefits in an abusive, dishonest or fraudulent manner.
10.3. Momentum Multiply may terminate your participation in the MultiplyCONNECT if any of the circumstances referred to in clause 10.2 apply.
11. Change to the terms, conditions and rules
11.1. Momentum Multiply may, in its sole discretion and at any time, amend these rules and associated business rules from time to time.
11.2. Any amended rules will be published on Momentum Multiply's digital channels or communicated through any other method determined by Momentum Multiply.
11.3. Momentum Multiply will provide reasonable prior notice of material amendments required by law.
12. Important disclosures
12.1. If you fail to comply with any part of these rules, you will forfeit any benefit(s) in relation to MultiplyCONNECT.
12.2. Should we not exercise some or all of our rights or waive certain requirements, this shall not be seen as a waiver of our rights or deprive us from insisting on strict adherence to those terms or any other term at a later stage. You must not assume that this means that the rules have been changed or that they no longer apply to you.
12.3. Momentum Multiply is not responsible or liable for any unauthorised human or technical intervention, or for any transactions that are not processed, executed, saved, or transmitted, regardless of the cause.
12.4. Momentum Multiply reserves the right to determine eligibility for participation in MultiplyCONNECT in accordance with these rules.
12.5. Any benefit allocated to you through MultiplyCONNECT is subject to prevailing legislation and applicable industry practice. In the event of a change in applicable legislation or practice, Momentum Multiply reserves the right to adjust the benefits accordingly without prior notice.
12.6. If one or more of these rules is invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, such portions will be severable from the body and it will not impact on the validity of remaining rules, which will stay valid.
12.7. Members may not transfer, cede, exchange, or sell MultiplyCONNECT membership, benefit/s, or reward/s rights to another person.
12.8. If required by legislation or regulation or for whatever other reason, Momentum Multiply reserves the right to terminate this ad hoc prize giving immediately and without prior notice. In the event of such termination, all entrants/participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this prize giving and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Momentum Multiply or its agents.
12.9. In the event of a dispute arising from any MultiplyCONNECT activity, challenge, campaign, competition, giveaway, prize draw or these Terms and Conditions, the decision of Momentum Multiply will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
12.10. Any breach of these rules, or any conduct considered by Momentum Multiply to be fraudulent, abusive or intended to circumvent these rules, may result in disqualification.
13. Personal information and privacy
13.1. Momentum Multiply will collect, use, store and process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws and Momentum Multiply's Privacy Policy.
13.2. By participating in MultiplyCONNECT activities, competitions, giveaways or prize draws, you consent to Momentum Multiply processing the personal information reasonably required to administer such activities, verify eligibility and fulfil prizes.
13.3. Where required, members may be asked to review or update their privacy preferences through the Momentum or Momentum Multiply app.

15. Definitions
15.1. Adult dependant means a dependant who is 18 years of age or older.
15.2. Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules shall mean the main terms, conditions and rules for the Momentum Multiply Programme which will apply to all Momentum Multiply members.
15.3. Wellness information and personal data shall mean all information and measurements that could be collected, whether through the camera that measures certain vital statistics such as heart rate, respiration*, oxygen saturation*, heart rate variability and blood pressure*; and the answers to questions relating to age, gender, medication taken, height, weight and identity number. The measured vital signs are not intended for medical use, including self-diagnosis or consultation with a doctor, and are only designed for general fitness and wellness purposes. *NOTE measurements for respiration, oxygen saturation (SpO2) and blood pressure are only available on Android and Huawei smartphones.
15.4. Prize means any reward, giveaway, voucher, product, experience, incentive, discount, benefit, lucky draw award, or promotional item offered through a MultiplyCONNECT challenge, campaign, competition, or engagement activity.
16. Interpretation
16.1. In these Terms and Conditions, references to the singular include the plural and vice versa. References to one gender include all genders.
