1. Purpose
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to give you information and guidelines on how the new wellness rewards products, Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus and Multiply Engage and Engage Plus, will work.
2. Parties and/or participants
2.1. Momentum Multiply – refers to Momentum Multiply Proprietary Limited herein referred to as “We” or “Us” or “Our” or “Momentum Multiply”.
2.2. Member – refers to main member; partner/spouse; adult dependant; and child dependent herein referred to us as “you” or “your”.
3. Acceptance of these terms and conditions
3.1. By participating in any Momentum Multiply assessment, you agree to have read, understood and accepted these rules. You also agree to the Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules and all the different sets of terms and conditions related to digital channel usage, privacy policy, status and tiers, partner terms and conditions (channel and product).
3.2. These rules will apply to and bind all Momentum Multiply Member(s). Dependants on your membership are also bound by these general rules. Any rules that apply to the main member, will therefore also apply to dependants.
4. Fitness assessment general information
4.1. As a Momentum Multiply member you can choose to do an online or an in-person fitness assessment.
4.2. Upon completion of the fitness assessment, you’ll receive a level of HealthReturns based on the outcome of your fitness assessment (Inspire and Inspire Plus members).
4.3. Your partner rewards level if you’re a Multiply Inspire Plus and Multiply Engage Plus member will be determined based on your fitness assessment result and Healthy Heart Score.
5. Eligibility
5.1. This benefit is available to all main members, their spouses or partners and adult dependants on Momentum Multiply Inspire, Inspire Plus, Engage or Engage Plus, 18 years and older.
6. In-person fitness assessment
6.1. The in-person fitness assessment takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and is performed by a registered health professional.
6.2. The in-person fitness assessment will measure:
6.2.1. Body composition
6.2.2. Cardiovascular fitness
6.2.3. Muscle strength
6.3. After the assessment, you’ll receive comprehensive feedback on each component of the test, as well as an overall fitness level (ranging from 1 – 5: Super fit to At risk).
6.4. Validity:
6.4.1. This result of the in-person fitness assessment is valid for 12 months. On Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus, you will earn HealthReturns for 12 (or for the period that the fitness assessment results are valid) months based on your fitness level.
6.4.2. HealthReturns will be paid into your HealthSaver account, so you need an active HealthSaver account.
7. Online fitness assessment
7.1. The online fitness assessment will take about 30 minutes and will be done online by a registered health professional via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Make sure you have a stable internet connection for the online fitness assessment and have a tape measure available.
7.2. The online fitness assessment will measure:
7.2.1. Body composition
7.2.2. Cardiovascular fitness
7.2.3. Muscle strength
7.3. After the assessment, you’ll receive comprehensive feedback on each component of the test, as well as an overall fitness level (ranging from 1 – 5: Super fit to At risk).
7.4. Validity:
7.4.1. This result of the online fitness assessment is valid for 6 months.
7.4.2. Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus you’ll will earn HealthReturns for 6 months (or for the period that the fitness assessment results are valid) based on your fitness level.
8. Booking a fitness assessment
8.1. You can find a list of health professionals on the Momentum Multiply app and make a booking from there.
8.2. You can complete your health assessment together with your fitness assessment if the provider is able to do so.
8.3. For the in-person assessment, you need to take any form of identification (identity document, passport or driving licence) with you. Have your identification close by for the online fitness assessment.
9. Fitness level scoring
9.1. After completing the fitness assessment, you will see your fitness level score depending on the fitness level achieved:
9.1.1. level 1 < 30 (At risk)
9.1.2. level 2 > or = 30 (Be aware)
9.1.3. level 3 > or = 55 (Effort required)
9.1.4. level 4 > or =70 (Fit)
9.1.5. level 5 > or = 86 (Super fit)
9.2. As an eligible Momentum Multiply member, you can go for as many fitness assessments in a calendar year as you would like, provided that four weeks have passed since the last assessment, as it takes time to improve your result.
9.3. For the in-person fitness assessment, you’ll receive a new level and the difference in scores, if applicable. So, if your fitness level improves, your HealthReturns will increase.
9.4. For the online fitness assessment, you’ll receive a score for the level achieved.
10. Fees and charges
10.1. You will pay R460 for an in-person fitness assessment at any health professional licensed to perform the assessment. A list of health professionals is available on the Momentum Multiply app
10.2. Please note: You must pay the health professional directly (either by cash or card, depending on the payment options offered by the health professional), but you can claim this from your HealthSaver account if there are sufficient funds to cover the cost.
10.3. You will pay R250 for an online fitness assessment with any health professional licensed to perform the assessment. A list of health professionals is available on the Momentum Multiply app.
10.3.1. Please note: You must pay the health professional directly via EFT, but you can claim this from your HealthSaver account if there are sufficient funds to cover the cost. You can also buy a voucher from the Momentum Multiply online shop to pay for the online fitness assessment.
10.4. Extra charges and/or fees.
10.5. If you earn HealthReturns, you will pay R40 per year administration fee for your HealthSaver account.
11. Partner details
11.1. The fitness assessment is endorsed by the Sport Science Institute of South Africa (SSISA) and the University of Cape Town (UCT).
12. Apps
12.1. All engagement for Momentum Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus and Momentum Multiply Engage and Engage Plus will take place on the Momentum app or the Momentum Multiply app.
12.2. Momentum clients will have access to Momentum Multiply and the relevant products through the Momentum app and all other members will have access through the Momentum Multiply app.

12.5. Once you’ve downloaded the respective app, you need to register a profile. You will be able to view all your health and membership details on your private profile.
12.6. Please note the Momentum Multiply app terms and conditions will apply, you can find these on the app.
13. Termination and cancellation
13.1. You will no longer have access to this benefit if your Momentum Multiply membership is cancelled.
13.2. On termination date of the main member’s Momentum Multiply membership, all members’ rights to the benefits will cease and no refunds of any fees paid will be permitted. Refer to the Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules for details.
13.3. Momentum Multiply may cancel or suspend your benefit upon investigation proving one of the below:
13.3.1. You breach any of the rules of Momentum Multiply; or
13.3.2. You are using the benefit(s) of the programme in an abusive and/or fraudulent manner.
13.4. Momentum Multiply may cancel your benefit upon conclusion investigation proving one of the abovementioned breaches.
14. Change to the terms, conditions and rules
14.1. Momentum Multiply may, in its sole discretion and at any time, amend these rules and/or any business rules associated with them in any manner whatsoever. Such amendments may include, but shall not be limited to, amendments to the amounts and percentages referred to in these rules as well as changing the model of the Momentum Multiply programme.
14.2. Momentum Multiply shall publish the amended terms and conditions on Momentum Multiply digital channels or any other manner as Momentum Multiply may determine in its sole discretion.
14.3. You will be provided with thirty days prior notice to any amendments and if you continue to use the Momentum Multiply benefits at the end of the notice period (effective date), you will be deemed to have accepted the amendments.
15. Important disclosures and legal matters
15.1. If you fail to comply with any part of these rules, you will be disqualified and you will forfeit any benefit(s).
15.2. Should we not exercise some or all of our rights or waive certain requirements, this shall not be seen as a waiver of our rights or deprive us from insisting on strict adherence to those terms or any other term at a later stage. You must not assume that this means that the rules have been changed or that it no longer applies to you.
15.3. Momentum Multiply is not responsible/liable for any unauthorised human or technical intervention, or for any transactions that is not processed, executed, saved or transmitted, regardless of the cause.
15.4. Momentum Multiply may at its sole discretion decide who may participate in these benefits/challenges.
15.5. Any benefit allocated to you considers prevailing legislation and/or any applicable practice. In the event of a change in the applicable legislation and/or practice, Momentum Multiply reserves the right to adjust the benefits accordingly without any reasonable notice to you.
15.6. If one or more of these rules is invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, such portions will be severable from the body and it will not impact on the validity of remaining rules, which will stay valid.
15.7. You may not transfer or cede or exchange or sell membership, benefit or reward rights to another person.
16. Personal information and privacy
16.1 Momentum Multiply will handle your right to privacy according to the rules and regulations as stipulated here.
16.2 You will be asked to agree to certain privacy settings when registering a profile on the Momentum or Momentum Multiply app. These privacy settings can be updated at any time.
16.3 Your assessment results will be kept confidential and will only be shared with the relevant third parties with your consent. We will not share your results with other members. This will only be visible on your dashboard after you’ve logged in to the app.

17.1 For any queries regarding the outcome of your fitness assessment, you should contact the health professional who completed your fitness assessment, as they are experts and can best advise on how to improve your fitness level.

18. Definitions
18.1 Adult dependant means dependants 18 years and older.
18.2 Child dependant means persons aged 17 years and below.
18.3 Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules shall mean the main terms, conditions and rules for the Momentum Multiply Programme which will apply to all Momentum Multiply users who utilise and accept these rules.
19. Interpretation
19.1 In these rules, the singular always refers to plural, as well as the other way around. In these rules references to the masculine gender shall include the feminine.
19.2 The headings in this agreement will not affect the interpretation of it.
