1. Purpose
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to give you information and guidelines on how the new wellness rewards products, Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus and Multiply Engage and Engage Plus, will work.
2. Parties and/or participants
2.1. Momentum Multiply – refers to Momentum Multiply Proprietary Limited herein referred to as “We” or “Us” or “Our” or “Momentum Multiply”.
2.2. Member – refers to main member; partner/spouse; adult dependant; child dependant herein referred to us as “you” or “your”.
3. Acceptance of these terms and conditions
3.1. By participating in any Momentum Multiply assessment, you agree to have read, understood and accepted these rules. You also agree to the Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules and all the different sets of terms and conditions related to digital channel usage, privacy policy, status and tiers, partner terms and conditions (channel and product).
3.2. These rules will apply to and bind all Momentum Multiply member(s). Dependants on your membership are also bound by these general rules. Any rule that applies to the main member, will therefore also apply to dependants.
4. Digital health screening general information
4.1. You can do a digital health screening on the Momentum Multiply app.
4.2. This assessment will measure certain health markers to give you a Healthy Heart Score.
4.3. Your Healthy Heart Score (HHS) will determine the level of HealthReturns that you will receive.
5. Eligibility
5.1. Eligibility for a digital screening is subject to medical aid scheme benefit rules. If it is not approved by the scheme, the in-person health assessment benefit applies.
5.2. You need to meet the following criteria to qualify for this benefit:
5.2.1. Be 18 years and older;
5.2.2. Be a member of Momentum Multiply Inspire, Inspire Plus, or Engage Plus;
5.2.3. Members include main members, their spouses or partners and adult dependants;
5.2.4. Have a free health assessment scheme benefit;
5.2.5. Are under the age of 40 and not on chronic medications;
5.2.6. Completed a Lifestyle Quiz and scored: 4 (Healthy: Amber-Green) or 5 (Super healthy: Green); and
5.2.7. Your previous HHS score is still valid and is Green. If we have a previous HHS on file, this must be Green for a you to qualify for the digital screening.
6. Validity
6.1. The digital health screening results (Healthy Heart Score) will be valid for 12 months.
7. Calculation of your Healthy Heart Score (HHS)
7.1. The digital health screening assessment will measure your Healthy Heart Score by calculating the below measurement scores:
7.1.1. Resting heart rate
7.1.2. Blood pressure
7.1.3. Heart rate variability
7.1.4. Body mass index
7.1.5. Smoking status
7.2. After the assessment, you’ll receive comprehensive feedback on each component of the test.
7.3. The calculations of all the measurements are added together to get a final score, which will place you in one of the following categories:
7.3.1. Red: You are at risk, your health is not under control.
7.3.2. Amber-Red: Effort is required, your health is not under control.
7.3.3. Amber: Take care, your health is not under control.
7.3.4. Amber-Green: Your health is under control.
7.3.5. Green: Great result, your health is under control.
7.4. If you score a low Healthy Heart Score when you do their digital health screening, you can go for an in-person health assessment to see if you can improve your score.
8. Rewards based on Healthy Heart Score
8.1. You earn HealthReturns based on the result of your health assessment (your Healthy Heart Score).
8.2. Members with a poor Healthy Heart Score will be required to have an in-person health assessment done to verify the digital health screening results before they earn HealthReturns.
8.3. HealthReturns are paid for 12 months or as long as the results of the health assessment are valid.
8.4. HealthReturns will be paid into your HealthSaver account, so you need an active HealthSaver account.
9. Requirement for the digital health screening
9.1. The digital health screening takes approximately 10 minutes and is done on the Momentum Multiply app on your smartphone.
9.2. You need to have the following information with you before the liveness screening will start:
9.2.1. RSA identity card or book;
9.2.2. Passport; or
9.2.3. Driving licence
9.3. Make sure that you have a stable internet connection, connected to mobile data or WiFi and that that your device is compatible with the Momentum Multiply app. These specific costs related to data are for your own account.
9.4. Make sure that there is nothing obstructing your face when you are doing the screening.
9.5. Follow all the instructions given during the screening.
9.6. All screening outputs are reliant on the completion of the full measurement and answers provided, therefore incomplete and inaccurate inputs will provide incorrect results.
9.7. You can find a list of supported devices on the Help Centre on multiply.co.za.
10. Fees and charges
10.1. If you earn HealthReturns you will pay R40 per year administration fee for your HealthSaver account.
11. Limitations and restrictions
11.1. No members under 18 are permitted to engage in this benefit.
12. Apps
12.1. All engagement for Momentum Multiply Inspire and Inspire Plus and Momentum Multiply Engage and Engage Plus will take place on the Momentum app or the Momentum Multiply app.
12.2. Momentum clients will have access to Momentum Multiply and the relevant products through the Momentum app and all other members will have access through the Momentum Multiply app.

12.5. Once you’ve downloaded the respective app, you need to register a profile. You will be able to view all your health and membership details on your private profile.
12.6. Please note the Momentum Multiply app terms and conditions will apply, members can find these on the Momentum Multiply app. The Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Limited KIMI terms and conditions will apply as well, which can be found here kimi.co.za/screening/tcs/. You agree to be bound be both these terms in order to use the service (digital screening).
13. Termination and cancellation
13.1. You will no longer have access to this benefit if your Momentum Multiply membership is cancelled.
13.2. On termination date of the main member’s Momentum Multiply membership, all your rights to the benefits will cease and no refunds of any fees paid will be permitted. Refer to the Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules for details.
13.3. Momentum Multiply may cancel or suspend your benefit upon investigation proving one of the below:
13.3.1. You breach any of the rules of Momentum Multiply; or
13.3.2. You are using the benefit(s) of the programme in an abusive and/or fraudulent manner.
13.4. Momentum Multiply may cancel your benefit upon conclusion investigation proving one of the abovementioned breaches.
14. Change to the terms, conditions and rules
14.1. Momentum Multiply may, in its sole discretion and at any time, amend these rules and/or any business rules associated with them in any manner whatsoever. Such amendments may include, but shall not be limited to, amendments to the amounts and percentages referred to in these rules as well as changing the model of the Momentum Multiply programme.
14.2. Momentum Multiply shall publish the amended terms and conditions on Momentum Multiply digital channels or any other manner as Momentum Multiply may determine in its sole discretion.
14.3. Members will be provided with thirty days prior notice to any amendments and if the Member continues to use the Momentum Multiply benefits at the end of the notice period (effective date), members will be deemed to have accepted the amendments.
15. Important disclosures and legal matters
15.1. If you fail to comply with any part of these rules, you will forfeit any benefit(s).
15.2. Should we not exercise some or all of our rights or waive certain requirements shall not be seen as a waiver of our rights or deprive us from insisting on strict adherence to those terms or any other term at a later stage. You must not assume that this means that the rules have been changed or that it no longer applies to you.
15.3. Momentum Multiply is not responsible/liable for any unauthorised human or technical intervention, or for any transactions that is not processed, executed, saved or transmitted, regardless of the cause.
15.4. Momentum Multiply may at its sole discretion decide who may participate in the digital screening.
15.5. Any benefit allocated to you considers prevailing legislation and/or any applicable practice. In the event of a change in the applicable legislation and/or practice, Momentum Multiply reserves the right to adjust the benefits accordingly without any reasonable notice to you.
15.6. If one or more of these rules is invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, such portions will be severable from the body and it will not impact on the validity of remaining rules, which will stay valid.
15.7. Members may not transfer or cede or exchange or sell membership, benefit or reward rights to another person.
16. Personal information and privacy
16.1 Momentum Multiply will handle your right to privacy according to the rules and regulations as stipulated here.
16.2 You will be asked to agree to certain privacy settings when registering a profile on the Momentum or Momentum Multiply app. These privacy settings can be updated at any time.
16.3 Your assessment results will be kept confidential and will only be shared with the relevant third parties with your consent. We will not share your results with other members. This will only be visible on your dashboard after you’ve logged in to the app.

18. Definitions
18.1. Adult dependant means dependants 18 years and older.
18.2. Child dependant means persons aged 17 years and below.
18.3. Momentum Multiply General Programme Rules shall mean the main terms, conditions and rules for the Momentum Multiply Programme which will apply to all Momentum Multiply users who utilize and accept these Leaderboard rules.
18.4. Wellness information and personal data shall mean all information and measurements that could be collected, whether through the camera that measures certain vital statistics such as heart rate, respiration*, oxygen saturation* heart rate variability and blood pressure*; and the answers to questions relating to age, gender, medication taken, height, weight and Identity Number. The measured vital signs are not intended for medical use, including self-diagnosis or consultation with a doctor, and are only designed for general fitness and wellness purposes.
*NOTE that measurements for respiration, oxygen saturation (Sp02) and blood pressure are only available on Android and Huawei smartphones.
19. Interpretation
19.1. In these rules, the singular always refers to plural, as well as the other way around. In these rules references to the masculine gender shall include the feminine.
19.2. The headings in this agreement will not affect the interpretation of it.
