1. Competition name
Nu Metro ‘5-star date’ competition
2. Promoter’s name
2.1. This competition is run by Momentum Multiply (Pty) Ltd, an entity within Momentum Group Limited, reg no: 1971/006353/07, with its principal place of business at 268 West Avenue, Centurion, 0157 (herein after referred to as “Momentum Multiply”.
2.2. This competition is run in collaboration with Nu Metro, reg no: 1971/006353/07 (herein referred to as “Nu Metro”) as well as Avis, reg no: 4850299663 (herein referred to as “Avis”)
2.3. In these rules, we refer to the above promoter(s) as “the promoter(s)”, “us”, “we”, or “our”. We’ll refer to participants as “you” or “your”.
3. The competition offer
3.1. Five [5] winners will each receive an all expenses paid date sponsored by Nu Metro and Multiply.
3.2. The date includes:
- VIP movie tickets for each couple from Nu Metro.
- Meal valued at R500 per couple courtesy of Multiply.
- Chauffeur service from Avis. Winners will be picked up from point A and dropped off at the cinema. They will also be dropped off at point A after the VIP experience.
- The prize is valid for 6 months from 21 March 2025.
4. Competition period
4.1. The start date and time of the competition is Wednesday, 12 February 2025; 00:01 and the end date and time is Wednesday, 12 March 2025; 00:01.
5. How to participate
5.1. Members must book a movie ticket with Nu Metro, using their Multiply membership details. This will automatically enter them into the lucky draw for the prize;
5.2. Members are eligible to get a single entry into the competition.
6. Eligibility
6.1. To participate in this competition, you must be:
6.1.1. A natural person who is 18 years or older;
6.1.2. A South African citizen or a permanent resident in the Republic of South Africa;
6.1.3. In possession of a valid South African ID book, South African driving license or valid passport for identification purposes;
6.1.4. A Momentum Multiply Inspire/Plus or Engage/Plus main member or partner/spouse or adult dependant (“Member”).
7. Exclusions
7.1. This competition is not available to the following members:
7.1.1. Members who do not meet the eligibility criteria above in paragraph 6;
7.1.2. Minors or persons under the age of 18;
7.1.3. A business or corporate entity;
7.1.4. All staff members within Momentum Group Limited.
7.2. The following persons may not take part in this competition even if they qualify to take part. They will forfeit (give up) any prizes awarded to them:
7.2.1. Any employee of the promoter(s);
7.2.2. Any director, member, partner, agent of, or consultant of the promoter(s);
7.2.3. Any other person who directly or indirectly controls the promoter(s); and
7.2.4. The spouse, life partner, children of any of the persons named in the points above.
8. Winner selection
8.1. An independent verification agent with no affiliation or relation to the prize given will draw five winners at random selection from all eligible entries by 17 March 2025.
8.2. In addition, five back-up winners will be drawn.
9. Winner announcement
9.1. The winner’s contact details will be obtained from the entries received.
9.2. Momentum Multiply will inform the winners telephonically or via email within 2 (two) working days after his/her name has been drawn that he/she has won the prize. If winners cannot be contacted after 3 (three) attempts over 3 (three) working days, their prize will be forfeited, and the next back-up winner will be contacted and allocated the prize.
9.3. Winners will be announced on the following platforms: Facebook.com/MultiplyRSA,twitter.com/MultiplyRSA & Instagram.com/MultiplyRSA.
10. Cancellation
10.1. If a Member’s Momentum Multiply membership is terminated for whatever reason after being entered into the competition but before the winner announcement is made, the relevant entry to the competition will be declared invalid.

12. Privacy
12.1. You understand and agree that to offer this competition, we may collect and use your personal information. This personal information may include your first name, last name, email address, mobile number and, in certain instances, your image;
12.2. Personal information which you provide during this competition may, subject to prevailing law, be used for future marketing activity unless you notify us that you wish to opt out of receiving such marketing communications;
12.3. For more information on how we treat your personal information, please refer to Momentum Multiply’s Privacy Policy which can be found on our website, or you can contact us to request a copy.
13. General
13.1. By entering the competition, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of this competition.
13.2. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Momentum Multiply’s decision shall be final and binding on all aspects of this promotional competition, and no correspondence will be entered into.
13.3. Momentum Multiply cannot guarantee the performance of any third party and shall not be liable for any act of default by a third party.
13.4. The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern this competition/campaign.
13.5. If any provision or part of these terms, conditions and/or rules is deemed void or otherwise unenforceable in law, then that provision or part shall be deemed excluded, and the remainder of these terms, conditions and/or rules will remain in force.
13.6. Any violation of these rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressing participant from the competition.
13.7. You indemnify us from and against loss, damage, costs, expenses, and liabilities which you may suffer or incur arising from or because of using this competition, provided such loss did not arise due to the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of Momentum Multiply, their affiliates, agents and/or representatives.
13.8. Unless we say otherwise, you must be 18 years of age and older to participate in the competition and must be pre-selected.
13.9. The competition prize may not be sold or given to someone else.
13.10. The competition prize cannot be swapped for a different campaign/competition or reward/s.
13.11. This prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.
13.12. You cannot use this competition together with any other Momentum Multiply promotion/competition.
13.13. If, for any reason, Momentum Multiply cannot provide the prize, Momentum Multiply will award an alternative prize of a similar value.
14. Rule amendments
14.1. These terms, conditions and/or rules cannot be modified or superseded except by us, in our reasonable and sole discretion, in a written revision to these rules posted on the Momentum Multiply website, other campaign/competition communication methods used by Momentum Multiply.
14.2. Momentum Multiply reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel, or withdraw any aspect of this competition/campaign in its sole discretion at any time without notice or liability.
14.3. In the event of such termination, all entrants/participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the promoter, its agents or employees.

16. Important
16.1. You may not attempt to do anything to change the outcome of this competition/campaign in any way.
16.2. Any violation, minor transgression, and any attempt or whatever may be deemed to be of the same value by the promoter will automatically result in disqualification.
16.3. The clauses in these terms, conditions and/or rules are severable.
16.4. Where any dates or times need to be calculated in terms of this document, the international standard time: GMT plus two hours will be used.
16.5. While the promoter/s may allow you extra time to comply with your obligations or decide not to exercise any or all of your rights or waive certain requirements, the promoter/s can still insist on strict application of any of its rights at a later stage.
